OSR Dumpster Rental and Tree Service(“OSR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a family-owned junk removal, dumpster rental, demolition, and tree service business based in Fallbrook, California. This policy explains what information we collect from customers and website visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you request a quote, book a service, or communicate with us. This includes:

  • Contact information— your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Service location— the street address or general area where the work will be performed.
  • Job details— what you need done: items being removed, dumpster size, demolition scope, tree condition, access notes, photos you choose to send, and preferred dates.
  • Payment information— handled through our payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Message and call history — texts, emails, and voicemails you send us as part of scheduling and completing a job.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this website (see §5, Cookies and analytics).

2. How we collect it

We collect the information above through:

  • Phone calls, text messages, and voicemails to our business line.
  • Direct emails to osrjunkremoval@gmail.com.
  • Third-party channels you use to reach us (e.g., Google Business Profile, Yelp, Thumbtack). When you contact us through one of those platforms, that platform’s privacy policy also applies.
  • Cookies and analytics tools on this website.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to quote requests and answer your questions.
  • Schedule the job, confirm arrival windows, and dispatch our crew.
  • Perform the work and coordinate access to your property.
  • Send invoices, receipts, and payment reminders.
  • Follow up after a job — to check that you’re satisfied and, if you’d like, invite you to leave a review.
  • Keep records of the work for warranty, dispute-resolution, tax, and legal compliance purposes.
  • Improve our services and this website.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your phone number when requesting a quote or booking a service, you may receive service-related text messages from us — quote replies, schedule confirmations, arrival updates, invoices, and follow-ups about the job. Message frequency varies depending on the job. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text from us. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at (442) 271-2748. Opting out of texts will not stop us from contacting you by phone or email about a job you’ve booked with us.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work properly and to understand how visitors use it. This includes standard analytics that report anonymized information such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located (city-level), the device and browser used, and how visitors arrived at the site.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but some features may be limited.

6. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with parties who help us run the business, and only to the extent needed to do their job. These include:

  • Email and messaging providers that deliver quote replies, confirmations, and receipts on our behalf.
  • Payment processors that handle card or ACH transactions.
  • Website hosting and analytics providers that keep the site online and report anonymized usage data.
  • Disposal facilities, subcontractors, or referred specialists when a job requires them, and only with the information they need to do their part of the work.
  • Government or legal authorities when we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

7. How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as we need them to run the business, respond to warranty or dispute issues, and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements — typically several years after the last job. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or take reasonable steps to anonymize it.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold — secure hosting, encrypted transmission over HTTPS, limited access to records, and vetted service providers. No online system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take our responsibility to customer data seriously.

9. Children’s privacy

This website and our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights (including California residents)

You may ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal information we have about you.
  • Provide a copy of that information.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete information we no longer need to keep for tax, legal, or dispute reasons.
  • Stop receiving marketing follow-ups from us.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion of personal information (subject to legal exceptions), the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As noted above, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, contact us using the details in §12. We will verify your identity (usually by matching your request against the phone number or email address we have on file) before acting on it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business, our tools, or the law change. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted more prominently on the site.
